The vast majority of us spend a lifetime passively absorbing media without responding with any of our own. We are now in a time when it's never been easier to gain hands-on experience with cameras, editing software, animation programs, and other modes of mediamaking. But what good is a tool without the basics of how to use it? In From Viewing to Doing, we will break down the fundamentals, language, and process of filmmaking and stop motion animation. Participants will work in on three different exercises that will broaden their understanding of these storytelling tools while building a working knowledge of creative techniques that can easily be incorporated into the classroom.
We can't wait to collaborate with you!
